The Alfa Romeo Giulia gets a new trim lineup for 2025.

The Giulia comes in two trims: base Giulia, and the Special Edition both available in all-wheel and rear-wheel drive. At the heart of the Giulia is a high-pressure 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine making 280 horsepower and 306 lb-feet of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Base Giulia features heated power folding side mirrors, LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, heated front seats, driver seat memory, automatic dual-zone climate control, an HD satellite radio, an 8-speaker sound system, an 8.8-inch touchscreen, voice activated navigation, adaptive cruise control, mobile hotspot, smart device connectivity, wireless device charging, 3 USB ports, a 12.3-inch gauge cluster, and a heated leather sport steering wheel.

The Special Edition adds a sport suspension, painted calipers, a power sunroof, 19-inch wheels, sport bucket front seats, leather upholstery, and a 14-speaker sound system.

Standard safety features include front and rear parking sensors, active lane departure, active blind spot, forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, front pedestrian detection, a driver attention alert and a traffic sign information system.

The Giulia competes with other entry level luxury sedans and sport sedans, such as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the BMW 3-Series and the Audi A4. However, the Giulia has several advantages over its rivals. Its styling is far more emotional and raw than anything seen from the relatively staid German competition. Alfa Romeo, via its corporate connections, also has access to Ferrari and their knowledge of how to build exceptional performance cars.
